Interesting that im right handed, but when i put my shoes and socks on in the morning, i noticed yesterday that i have a tendency to put a sock on my left foot first before my right foot everytime i put socks on.
I stopped and considered where did i learn this knowledge that i apparently must put the left sock on before the right one, and the left shoe before the right one? why am i still allowing this point to exist when it does not make a difference what sock i put on first? Why have i placed value on the left sock first?
When i look back into my memory i remember being about 10 years old, and watching a clip on tv of a football star i adored at the time. Now i played alot of youth team football at this time, and this star on tv that i idolised was being interviewed about how he prepares for a cup final match. I remember his exact words, where at one point he said "its also just the little things you know, like putting your left sock on before your right one, just silly things to try and get a bit of luck" so this clearly imprinted on me as the starting point of my allowance for this belief to exist, and ever since that day i have always put a sock on my left foot before my right one and believing it to be lucky in some way lol - how fucking ridiculous.
Fascinating on further investigation of this point i found that it is a commonly held superstition believed to be lucky in England when i told my mother about this. I have stopped all forms of belief in superstition since walking my process, i mean before process i was actually believing its lucky to see two magpies together, you should never walk under a ladder its bad luck, heads is more lucky then tails in coin flip, opening umbrellas inside is bad luck. i mean these are classic english superstitions that i have long since released.
However, here i am still holding onto this form knowledge, and this superstitious belief being so deeply ingrained, that i was totally unaware of my participation in this belief for a longtime until yesterday. Now i am aware of it.
So i stop here, and take self responsibility to direct and delete this belief out of existance -
