We have all had situations like this, where you are a complete expert on a particular topic, so you have direct memory access to everything about this topic - you have developed masses of direct physical experience with your hands, and also what you know about the topic is accepted as such in all parts of society.
Yet despite all that, the person you are explaining this point to refuses to agree with what your saying. Sometimes this person maybe knows you are right, but feels stupid that they don't know what you do, so they just want to compete in their mind with you, and so will just disagree with you just for the sake of an imaginary contest in their mind, trying to get some kind of ego boost over you.
But what I am referring to, is when a person disagrees with a fact that you are sharing, not because they are necessarily competing with you, although they may be doing that too -- but instead this person is choosing to disagree with you because they are so used to believing and accepting their own individual opinions in their life that the person is basically mentally disabled to being able to accept many facts. I say mentally disabled, because now this person struggles to understand and realise that facts do not need any beliefs to be validated. Facts stand by themselves eternally.
But its almost as if humanity has brainwashed itself to to believe that opinions give us strength in some way, when all they do is weaken us. It is believed that having opinions makes us "more unique" and is a way to define ourselves as different from others. Which is of course the problem - we enjoy having our opinions to separate ourselves from each other, and define ourselves according to that separation, which in reality is a dangerous concept.
Here is the dictionary definition of a fact - a thing that is proven to be true - something that actually exists - something known to exist or to have happened - a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true.
So the parameters for what a fact is seem very clear upon research, and what I have also noticed about human behaviour regarding accepting opinions before facts, is that the longer that a person has been accepting and allowing an opinion/belief about a particular point, then the more difficult it is to explain a fact to this person if it contradicts their opinions/beliefs on the point.
I mean that's how pre-programming works - the longer we accept and allow a certain point, then the stronger and stronger it becomes through the years, until we literally become that point in totality -- it completely defines us, possesses us, where a piece of brainwashing based on lies is integrated into our very physical body.
For example if you explain to a lifelong Christian that the bible is a rehash of much more ancient religions, that there are many civilizations that existed way before Christianity that clearly disprove all current religions, they will still likely not accept what you are saying.
Not necessarily because they want to compete with you, but just because their understanding of reality on this point is now so skewed, that they actually believe that their opinions/beliefs are more valid then factual reality - which when a person accepts that ideology regarding anything in their life, it spells nothing but fucked up consequences.
The consequences of valuing and accepting opinions ahead of facts are so vast, that it would take a long, long time to document all of them. But bottom line the main consequence is that a person is now valuing their own thoughts, their own pre-programming over physical reality which can make them a danger to life in a variety of ways.
For instance a guy is incredibly drunk because in his opinion he has the right to get drunk - then in his opinion he is not that drunk and can drive home - then he crashes the car, seriously injures himself or someone else or worse, and all the fucked up consequences of this one example happened because the person trusted their opinions.
If this person had been accepting and allowing themselves to live in a world of facts - then this person probably would have only had one or two drinks instead of ten, he would have made sure he wasn't over the limit - and would have been able to drive himself home effectively without hurting himself or anyone else.
What this shows us is that once we accept an allow ourself to only accept facts in our life, we become more effective beings in everything that we do, because facts go hand in hand with common sense, so once you only accept yourself to live in a world of facts, you can never be swayed away from what makes sense in any moment, and when we utilise common sense in all moments, that is where we can make decisions that are best for all in all moments.
So its time for every human to accept that factual reality is not actually what we have been "seeing" as reality through our opinionated distractions in our mind - opinions have been distorting our ability to see and live within and as factual reality - our opinions require belief/energy to exist, to project onto physical reality, which is how you know they are not real - reality doesn't need thought energy to be any more real, reality is reality without thought energy.
Its time for humanity to accept the fact that facts are written in the stones of the Earth, while opinions are fleeting farts in our minds. Its time to accept the fact that we cannot escape the factual reality of the dilemma we are in as a species on this planet. That we need to collectively take Self-Responsibility to change our understanding of reality to become purely factual based - where opinions become a relic of the past, used for nothing more then past time jokes that are never seriously accepted by anyone, until a fact is investigated and found to validate the point.
It is imperative that we start individually and collectively living in factual reality asap, before the consequences of collectively accepting opinionated reality becomes far too deteriorated to repair.
