Day 163: Faces from the past

You know those moments where you see a person in a certain place, that you haven't seen for a long time, and when you last saw the person you were not speaking on agreeable terms. This is what I had recently, and its always interesting when you bump into a face from the past, because whether you are cool with this person or not, there is a reaction in the moment, either positive or negative according to your memories and experiences with and of this person. So we are either happy to see this person - or unhappy to see this person -- instead of just seeing this person.

In this particular moment, It was a person I had to block out of my life due to them constantly and recklessly abusing themselves and others in various ways. Now while I am always willing to rebuild burnt bridges with a person Iv'e had friction with in the past, sometimes that is not possible.

So I felt awkward because the last interaction with this person, ended with both of us feeling offended, so in this moment there was plenty of rolling eyes, uncomfortable physical twitches, pretending that I didn't notice the person etc. Its the same kind of thing when you bump into a a face from the past that you remember going to school with for instance, and didn't necessarily get on with, so essentially you pretend like you didn't see the person - when in reality you did see them, and loads of memories and thoughts came up in the moment.

In this situation, as I say I was experiencing this awkwardness at seeing this person, and a desire that I could be invisible in the moment. I put my sunglasses on, as this person was looking around, which assisted in this person not noticing me fully. But the reactions I experienced in the moment - there is no hiding from that for me, I knew in the moment that I was reacting, and that self-corrective application will be needed in order for me to not react this way, when I next see a face from the past.

When speaking about faces from the past in another context, while some people just coincidently look alike, or remind us of someone we know, there are people that exist today, that are actual copies of people from the past. There is plenty of evidence to show that certain wealthy elite families, have and do like to find DNA of famous historical characters and bring copies of these people back through cloning technology. These people are then placed into Hollywood to be adored by the public as a celebrity and turned into a money machine, or placed into politics to fulfil some "prophetical" role they want, or just placed into society for any other number of reasons these people want.

Some may be sceptical about this, but it is simply a matter of fact that some of the richest characters and families in the world do have some massive ego issues, and therefore enjoy anything that enables them to experience themselves as a god, which as delusional as it may sound, some of these people genuinely believe. On top of accumulating money, and having lots of sex, there is only one other thing that allows a person to experience themselves as a god energy in this capitalist system - the ability to create and destroy life.

If we also look at certain ancient civilizations like Egypt, and when one researches the "book of the dead", then it becomes clear why the Egyptians did certain things. The evidence seems to suggest that the death/mummification process was done so that the "soul" could leave the body, but then be reunited with the body in the future to live forever. Essentially the evidence suggests that bodies of Pharaohs and characters of importance in Egypt were preserved as well as possible, because the Egyptians knew that there would be a way to reanimate or bring back these people in the future as technology grew. As if they knew that cloning technology would one day be developed to allow the Pharaohs to walk the Earth again.

Which on top of the beliefs that gold extends the life of a person, the construction of the pyramids, interesting hieroglyphics portraying different technologies, and the detailed explanations of their "gods" revealing all these things to them it is all interesting to note. So just as with reanimating past historical characters, I realise that we all individually reinvent the past as the pre-programmed mind that humanity knows/trusts and exists as. We continue to relive the past, because the patterns in our mind consciousness system are cyclical, eternally repetitive until we take a stand as life to stop the past being reborn again - to live here as life where we do not re-create our past mistakes -- but rather rebirth ourselves as a being that is able to create and live solutions to our mistakes.  

So whether we want to admit that we are seeing the past before our eyes again or not, the reality is that just like a test-tube of DNA, we carry our past, we cannot escape our past, we have to face it, accept it, and then take responsibility to change our relationship to the past, to live what is best for all here in this moment - where only pieces of the past that are of benefit to all life are maintained.
